We at SAJC, with an enduring legacy of excellence in education, have been providing quality education since its inception. We take our responsibility to find what is exceptional in students very seriously. SAJC gives every student an all-round education built on a foundation of Service, Adventure, Sports, Creative Arts and Academics. We also nurture a commitment a commitment to compassion, respect and well being that we believe is an antidote to the entitlement, anxiety and lack of connection that dominate the day-to-day lives of so many teenagers. To prepare students to enter a competitive and interconnected world we build their capacity to collaborate, take intellectual risks and turn their ideas and passions into something original and valuable.
The aim of SAJC never was, and should never be, to produce crammers. Therefore, students must have many more opportunities to take decisions in college activities; this will allow them to make and learn from mistakes, feel empathy and gain confidence. SAJC has diligently implemented the Development Plan that was designed after much deliberation. For the coming years, we hope to continue the broad approach, and introduce some new initiatives.
